We are Brook and Erin, an environmental lawyer and education policy wonk who needed some fresh air. Brook has spent time hiking, climbing, and fly fishing in places like Alaska's Brooks Range, South America, the Rockies, and the backwoods of Maine. He's also an avid surfer and former competitive rower who now dabbles in adventure racing and (when pressed) the occasional road race or triathlon.
Erin loves to hike and has been the inspiration for many of our trips, from Washington's Olympic National Park, to the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the peaks of Patagonia. For "fun" Erin likes to get up at 5:30 and swim a couple of miles, usually while Brook's still asleep. She also likes competing in triathlons, but probably less than she likes good wine.
